Why do I need to verify my Metamask?
Metamask is an Ethereum wallet that works inside of your favorite browser. OpenLTV uses your Metamask address to add to our Whitelist, which is then queried for various permissions when you are buying, selling or moving your digital securities. When you are registering for OpenLTV, we will ask you to confirm your Metmask address.
Is OpenLTV a registered financial advisor or a broker dealer?
No, OpenLTV is a crowdfunding platform and not currently registered in any jurisdiction.
What is OpenLTV?
OpenLTV OpenLTV is an open, tokenized passive investment platform. You can invest in loans backed by USA real estate, get a token, earn passive income and in some cases, sell the token on an exchange.
How do I change my Metamask to Mainnet?
Your Metamask wallet needs to be connected to Ethereum Mainnet to properly function with OpenLTV, here is how to change it in case you need to:
What do the terms LTV, LTC, ARV mean? How does OpenLTV use them?
LTC - Loan to Cost. We typically only offer loans with a maximum of 90% loan to cost LTV - Loan to Value. We typically offer loans with a maximum of 75% LTV. ARV - After Rehab Value. We typically issue loans with an ARV of 70% or less. Please check each offering legal disclosures prior to making any investment decisions. Your investment may be a complete loss, do not invest more then you can theoretically afford to lose.
How do I get my interest payment?
Interest is paid out using Paxos stablecoin, into the Ethereum wallet registered for your account. You can learn more about Paxos and how to redeem it to other currency here: https://www.paxos.com/pax/
What types of currencies does OpenLTV accept?
OpenLTV currently accepts USDC, TrueUSD and Paxos, as well as USD for those that live in the United States.
How do I get my principal?
After the loan matures, the principal is paid out using the same funds that you used to invest.
