With that said, at OpenLTV, we take risk mitigation seriously. The cornerstone of our investment protection involves only working with originators that issue loans backed by real estate assets located in the US. Furthermore, those originators must have a process that can recover some or all of the principal in case of a default. We also make sure that Loan to Value and Loan to Cost on these real estate backed loans gives the originator enough room to return funds in case of a market downturn or default.
